How do I set a deposit limit on my Lancar138 account?

Log in to your Lancar138 account, navigate to Account Settings, and select the "Responsible Gaming" tab. There you will find options to set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits. Enter your desired limit amount in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and confirm the change. Limits take effect immediately. Please note that limits can only be lowered with immediate effect — to raise a limit, a 7-day waiting period is required before the change comes into force.

Can I reopen my account early if I activate self-exclusion?

No — and that's by design. Self-exclusion at Lancar138 is binding for the full period you set. This means if you choose a 30-day self-exclusion, your account will be inaccessible for the full 30 days with no exceptions. This is intentional — because in moments like these, the urge to return can be strong, and having a firm barrier is the point. Time-outs ranging from 24 hours to 30 days work the same way.

What happens to the funds in my account during a self-exclusion period?

Funds in your Lancar138 account are safe during a self-exclusion or time-out period. You won't be able to play with them during that time, but they won't be lost. Once the exclusion period ends and your account is reopened, your balance will still be there. If you need access to those funds during a self-exclusion period due to an emergency, contact the Lancar138 support team by email at support@lancar138.best — we will assess each situation on a case-by-case basis.

What should I do if I feel my gaming is becoming a problem?

The most important first step is being honest with yourself that there is a problem — and you have already taken that step by reading this page. From here, there are a few things you can do. First, activate the temporary break or self-exclusion option in your Lancar138 account settings right now — this will give you the pause from gambling that you need. Second, contact the Lancar138 support team via live chat or email; we can help you access the available control tools and provide further information. Third, consider seeking professional support — speaking with a psychologist or counsellor about the challenges you are facing is a courageous and sensible decision, not a sign of weakness.

How can I set limits for a family member who plays on Lancar138?

Self-control tools at Lancar138 can only be activated by the account holder themselves — this is to protect each player's privacy and autonomy. If you are concerned about a family member's gambling habits, the best step is to have an open and compassionate conversation with them about your concerns. You can encourage them to activate the self-control tools within their own account. If your family member is a minor under 18 who has accessed Lancar138 without authorisation, please contact us immediately at support@lancar138.best and we will take prompt action to investigate and close the account.

Will Lancar138 reach out to me if it looks like I'm playing excessively?

Yes — this is part of Lancar138's responsible gaming commitment, and we take it seriously. Our system continuously monitors playing patterns to detect warning signs such as a sudden spike in deposit amounts, unusually long sessions, or loss-chasing behaviour. When such patterns are flagged, a trained member of our support team will reach out via live chat or email — not to judge, but to check that the player is doing okay and to remind them of the self-control tools available. Players are always free to decline the offer of support, but we will keep making it because we genuinely care.

lancar138 | Responsible Gaming – Play Safe and Stay in Control

What Does Responsible Gaming Mean at Lancar138?

Online casino games — whether slots, Live Casino, lottery, blackjack, or EPL and Liga Super Malaysia football betting — are entertainment. They're designed to be fun, exciting, and occasionally rewarding in unexpected ways. But like all forms of entertainment, they need to be enjoyed responsibly so they stay enjoyable and don't become a burden.

Responsible Gaming at Lancar138 means we provide an environment where players can enjoy themselves safely, with full control over the time and money they spend, and easy access to tools that help them stay within comfortable limits. It's not about restricting the fun — it's about making sure that fun can last long-term without affecting your life negatively.

At Lancar138, this commitment is not merely written into a policy document. It is built directly into the platform — from the way deposit limits work and how session alerts are designed, to the training every member of our customer support team receives. We care about our players not just as users of the platform, but as individuals with lives, responsibilities and wellbeing that matter far more than any game.

Why Responsible Gaming Matters for Malaysian Players

Malaysia has a vibrant gaming community — from younger players drawn to e-sports and online slots, to seasoned punters who enjoy badminton betting and Sports Betting. Easy access to online casinos via smartphones means the temptation to play can arise at any time — during an office lunch break, on the LRT from KL Sentral to Petaling Jaya, or late at night at home.

This convenience is a great advantage, but it also means the line between playing for fun and playing excessively can blur easily without the right discipline and tools in place. That is why Lancar138 invests heavily in building a responsible gaming system that genuinely works — not just to meet licensing requirements, but because we believe a responsible casino platform is a better platform for everyone.

Global statistics show that the vast majority of online casino players — more than 95% — play recreationally and experience no issues whatsoever. However, a small number of individuals may struggle with controlling their gambling. For this group, having easily accessible self-control tools can make a significant difference before the situation becomes more serious.

Gambling Is Entertainment, Not Income

This is the most important thing Lancar138 wants every player to understand and hold on to: gambling is a form of paid entertainment, just like going to the cinema or buying a concert ticket. Think of the money you deposit as the cost of entertainment — money you are comfortable spending for enjoyment, with the understanding that it may not come back.

When you play with this mindset, every win becomes a pleasant bonus and every loss is simply the expected cost of entertainment. Problems arise when someone starts playing with money needed for essentials like rent, utility bills, or food — or when someone chases losses in hopes of recovering, which often leads to even greater losses.

At Lancar138, we encourage all players to set a budget before they play, define a time limit for each session, and ensure that online casino activity never gets in the way of more important commitments and relationships. This platform is meant to add enjoyment to your life — not to replace your responsibilities or become a source of stress.
